About Bob Chambers
Singer/Songwriter/Performer Bob Chambers has been writing excellent commercial songs in the Country/Pop/Rock genres since 1970. Originally from London, Bob now lives near Brighton in East Sussex, England.
“Bobs ability to write original, contemporary songs across a wide spectrum of genres is nothing short of pure genius” Phil Chilton (Record Producer)
When Bob isn’t writing new songs, composing music for films/videos etc; or delighting audiences in and around the South East of England with his live performances, he keeps himself busy promoting his highly acclaimed albums on the Internet.
The album “She Says” was the first album of country songs from Bob Chambers released in 2005, . This was followed by another album of country songs "Shortcut to Nashville" released in 2008. Bob's latest album "CHAMBUZZ" was released in 2009 and is a collection of songs in the Rock/Blues/Pop vein. All Bob's albums feature songs that he has written over many years (from 1977 through to 1995).
Bob’s musical influences reads like a “Who’s who?” of the music business, listing such artists as Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Steely Dan, The Police, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, Chicago, Willie Nelson, Dr. John, David Gates, The Tractors, The Oak ridge boys, Kris Kristoferson, Johnnie Cash, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles and Frank Sinatra to name but a few!
Bob is a highly versatile musician, singer and songwriter with many years of experience in a wide variety of musical styles from R&B to C&W, Jazz, Ballads, and Rock 'n' Roll. His musical career has covered a wide range from gigging in clubs in the U.K., France, Spain, Italy and Greece to involvement in music publishing.
From the mid seventies to mid eighties, Bob was very much involved with his own songs and concentrated most of his time writing and producing his own material. In 1977 Bob formed his own music publishing company “Bobsongs Music”. During this time Bob played with many different bands as a bass player, covering Rock, Blues, Country and Irish music. He also sang and played guitar in the popular London club trio "Cue". Bob moved to Cumbria in 1987 where he sang and played guitar in R&B band "The Pitz", playing the clubs of the mining areas. He also played bass and keyboards with the Penrith based club band "4-Play".
In 1994 Bob returned to the South East of England, and started to gig with Will Conrad and his country band, as lead guitarist, he also played lead guitar with country band Moonshine. By 1999 Bob had bought his first computer and Korg Trinity workstation and proceeded to record his own backing tracks for his own solo gigs. He also used his home studio set up to record and release his own songs on his BOMB records label.
Bob Chambers is a “One man band” so all credits for producing his music goes to him; from writing the music and the lyrics, playing the instruments, singing the vocals, mixing the tracks, designing the album covers and promoting and marketing the finished product.

Great collection of Music, from stormin' Boots to laid-back Believing. Just shows what can be done with talent & dedication, without the so-called help of the mainstream music industry. Good Luck Bob, you deserve it!
