I’ve been making music for many years now and have spent my life gigging, writing and recording.
I love many different styles of music and have tried my hand at writing and recording in different genres – probably not a good idea in a world that likes to pigeon-hole artists, but quite healthy if you want to be a songwriter.

I’ve always been an independent musician and have not pursued a recording contract with a big record company and have shied away from music publishers who want you to sign away all your rights.

The advent of the internet, MP3’s and the ability to download music has been a godsend to musicians like me.
Over the past few years I have embraced this technology and have re-recorded and submitted my music to many different music hosting sites like MySpace, Soundclick, OurStage, etc. These have been great venues to air my music and have brought me many listeners and fans from all over the world. I have sold albums through CDBaby, and with their digital distribution service have distributed my songs to all the major download sites on the web, including iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody,etc.

This has given me the incentive to re-record what I think are my best songs written between 1974 and 1995 and release them as albums. Of course you can listen and download any song from each album as an individual track.

The first album I recorded was “She Says” a collection of country flavoured songs. Some of the songs on the album were not originally intended to be country flavoured, however, that was the style I recorded them in, and I think that it works.

The second album I recorded was “Shortcut to Nashville” this was the follow-up to “She Says”, 12 more songs recorded in the country style.

The third and latest album “CHAMBUZZ”  is a collection of 12 Rock/Pop songs.

There will be one more album after that and then I will have achieved stage one of my project. The archive will be complete, all my old songs will be recorded and available to listen to or download. My task then will be to write and record brand new material and make that available to the world via the internet.
